Pickled Fish #2

1 qt. white vinegar
1 tbsp. pickling spice
Salt and pepper to taste

Place fish in liquid. Bring to boil. Boil for 5 mins; remove from burner. Put fish, sliced onions and lemon (sliced), in containers in layers. Put liquid back on stove and bring to boil. Pour over fish and let stand for 2-3 days.
