Smothered Doves

3 dove breasts
1/2 c. flour
8 tbsp. fat
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. water
Salt and pepper

Salt and pepper the dove breasts. Place flour into paper bag and place breasts into the bag. Close bag; shake well. Melt the fat in a skillet. Fry the dove breasts in the fat until golden brown. Put 1/2 tsp. of lemon juice on top of each dove. Add 1 c. water; cover skillet. Simmer for 1 hr. or until tender. Add water if necessary. Serve with rice.\
