I’ve heard that everything tastes better with bacon on or in it. Here’s how to improve corn of the cob, not that it needs improvement.
6 ears of sweet corn, shucked and halved
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
12 slices bacon
In a bowl, mix the salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Sprinkle this mixture onto the corn. Wrap each half ear of corn with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Grill over medium heat, turning until the bacon is crispy (about 20 minutes). Discard toothpicks before serving.
