This recipe will work with beef, pork, chicken, turkey, venison, etc.
1 lb. lean ground meat of your choice
1 small onion, chopped
Chopped celery (optional)
Large can of diced tomatoes
1 lg. potato, sliced, or 1 can potatoes
Fresh or canned carrots to taste
Other veggies, as you prefer
1/2 c. rice, uncooked
Seasoned salt, to taste
Brown meat along with the onion and celery in a large pot. Add vegetables and simmer from 45 to 60 minutes until tender. Add rice and more liquid if needed. Simmer an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is cooked. Add seasoned salt and serve.
