Granola/Energy Bars

Got this granola bar recipe while we were in the Ohio Amish country recently. It would make an excellent energy bar to have in your pack while out hunting.

1/3 c tahini
1/3 c brown rice syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/4 c puffed rice
1 c quick oats
2/3 c chopped dates
1/3 c raw pumpkin seeds
3 Tbsp uncooked quinoa

Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl and the wet ingredients together in another bowl. Pour the well mixed wet ingredients over the well mixed dry ingredients and toss to coat well. Press into a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until set.
