One evening, a small boy was overheard saying his nightly prayers. He finished with, “God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma, good-bye Grandpa.” The very next day his Grandpa dropped dead from a heart attack.
A week or so later, the little boy was praying, “God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, good-bye Grandma.” The next day his grandma was hit by a bus as she crossed a street. She didn’t feel a thing.
A few months later, the same little boy was praying and said, “God bless Mommy, good-bye daddy.” Needless to say, his father panicked. Extreme caution was practiced the next day on his way to and from work and while at work with everything he did. In fact, it took him forty-five minutes to make the usual ten-minute drive home that evening. His wife met him at the door when he finally arrive home with, “What do you think happened today, dear? The most awful thing. The mailman dropped dead on the front porch!”
