Tuna Barb-B-Q

If you can use tuna in a casserole (tuna casserole) or in a salad (tuna salad), why not use it in a Barb-B-Q. You’ve probably never thought of using tuna that way, have you? Try it. Your friends will begin to wonder what other strange concoctions you’ll come up with.

1/4 c water
2 Tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped green pepper
1/2 c chopped celery
1-1/2 c tomato juice
3 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp mustard
salt and pepper
1 – 12 oz can tuna

Cook onion, pepper and celery in water. Mix the tomato juice, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper together and add to the pan. Bring to a boil and add flaked tuna. Simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is boiled away.
