Here’s another melon recipe to accompany the Honeydew Melon Soup recipe from 14 July 2017.
1 cantaloupe, scooped with a melon baller
8 oz package mozzarella cheese balls
2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
5 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 c honey
1/4 c extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
Combine the cantaloupe, cheese balls, basil and bacon in a bowl. Mix the vinegar, honey and olive oil together and then drizzle over the fruit mixture. Toss gently and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
